May 6, 1979 @ Lake Alice

The Police performed at University of Florida Lake Alice Field as part of their Outlandos d'Amour Tour. The University of Florida was a surprisingly strong supporter of left-of-center bands in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with The Ramones, The Cramps, The Police and Devo all playing UF-hosted gigs in Gainesville during that time.
