22 Brad Kokay at Laboratory Music #1 solo minimalist free improvisation festival Gainesville

Brad Kokay recorded in performance at Laboratory Music #1 solo minimalist free improvisation festival, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at The Laboratory, 818 W. University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. Brad Kokay (of Sarasota, Florida) was one of 31 improvisers in a seven hour program. For his performance Kokay improvised a visual collage of pre-cut black and white photocopy clippings from books and magazines and affixed them to a thick three foot by four foot sheet of plywood. At the end of the Laboratory Music show I bought the collage and it is now proudly displayed in my home. Kokay titled it "Custodian Of The Hive". The Laboratory Music #1 festival was produced by Hal McGee, in association with 355 Noise.
