LZRKMMNDR billed as LIZARD KOMMANDER "// space bass/ weirdo beats/ experimental lounge// // future garage/ unknown bass/ interplanetary trap// Rx took to the scene almost 3 years ago as the very FIRST regular dubstep party in Gainesville. The Laboratory & its staff allowed us to be as diverse & unique as we saw fit. the experiment took on a life of its own with a massive collection of artists from around the state taking the stage & elevating the vibes beyond a danceclub or lounge or rave or whatever else people go out for these days. we didnt have to be politically correct or even socially understood. the Rx Resident Scientists & our guests embodied the need for experimentation & stepped up to the task with theories previously unimagined in our small but ever evolving scene. but sadly, even the most brilliant of experiments must one day come to an end. as The Laboratory is consumed by the ever expanding greed of mankind, there is now more than ever a need for experiments in Bass. so we must no longer be junkies but space travelers. this is not an end to the past, but a return to the future."
