TALES OF THE TRICKSTER is a theatrical experience created by magician and storyteller Nelson Lugo, which combines slice-of-life storytelling with sophisticated stage magic. Very much in the style of NPR's The Moth, and combined with classic turn-of-the-century parlor magic, Nelson Lugo presents sleight-of-hand in a whole new way. He lures his audience into an intricate web of pop cultural influences and valuable life lessons that is greater than the sum of its parts.
