Shapes With No Names at Apartment Music 35

SHAPES WITH NO NAMES (Jeremiah Paddock) at Apartment Music 35, Sunday, June 30, 2019. The sixth performance of the 35th edition of Apartment Music, a long-running series (since July 2008) of concerts and sessions of experimental and electronic music, improvisation and noise in Hal McGee's apartment in Gainesville, Florida. Recorded in HD, 1080p at 60 fps, with iPhone XR. Jeremiah: "The song is called Karmic Thermals. I’m using a cheap Firefly brand semi hollow guitar i am playing with a threaded metal rod and then just my hands into a Boss ME-80 multi effects pedal into my dude mixer. Also plugged into the mixer is a barely working Sony tcm recorder playing a 20 second loop of Hal’s performance from Apartment Music 34, and my trusty Sony ICD-UX560 playing a recording of a thunderstorm from a few days before the show. On the table my Buddha box is repeating quietly, adding just a little extra spice."
