sm00sh at Apartment Music 35
June 30, 2019 @ Hal McGee's apartmentsm00sh (Shelby Radcliffe) at Apartment Music 35, Sunday, June 30, 2019. The seventh performance of the 35th edition of Apartment Music, a long-running series (since July 2008) of concerts and sessions of experimental and electronic music, improvisation and noise in Hal McGee's apartment in Gainesville, Florida. Recorded in HD, 1080p at 60 fps, with iPhone XR. Shelby: "For this set, I used a Macbook Air, 1/8 to 1/4 cable, Google Chrome, and the supplied amp lol. I use YouTube videos and the tools on YT to manipulate the videos (such as the speed, playback time). The idea is a riff on traditional mashups, but in this case taking popular songs and making them monstrous, silly, and more repetitive. And it’s all done on the spot to be like a deejay set. This set in particular had a women artists theme. :))"
