06 Nick Boutwell & Natalja Mari at Laboratory Music #3 Improvisation Festival

Video document of Nick Boutwell (aka Whitey Alabastard of North Fort Myers, voice, electronics) and Natalja Mari (synthesizer, electronics, voice) performing at the Laboratory Music #3 Improvisation Festival, Saturday, April 2, 2011, at The Laboratory in Gainesville, Florida. Laboratory Music #3 consisted of 15 duo improvisations and three trio improvisations. The improv partners were chosen by chance, by drawing names from a beer pitcher. The improvisations were limited to nine minutes. Each improviser was given a small Behringer mini mixer and a Marshall MG10 amplifier, or they could play acoustically.
