191028 Longineu Parsons Quartet at The Hipp #3 - YouTube by JazzBluesFlorida

Jazz at Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, Florida! Longineu Parsons, Zac Chester, Clyde Connor, Jose Antonio Serrano - world class... A day that started many miles away, with many thoughts and many options. The end of a very full weekend shared with a good friend, and the resulting new friendships along the way. A bit of Zen and the Art of Subaru Maintenance that delivers me safely to my many destinations, sandy beaches and blue ocean skies, delish food w/ delightful company with over quarter century of memories and learning shared, some time spent with dinosaurs that is always a good way to get our existence here in focus - they will be here LONG after we are gone, as they have been much longer than our arrival. Sharing table-time with friends, and sharing good friends amongst good friends - and thus propagating idea that we are not alone. Then, the music. THE MUSIC....These crazy talented artists that share their souls with us. I'll be the first to admit that a jazz groove is not a simple beat, a repeated line, and a snap of the fingers synced to easy beat. It DOES take more, but once there, the rewards are as endless as your mind wishes to create. Yes. A full day. Full of life. Nothing could be better. Until the next time. Thank you all.
